João Frigerio consults with a focus on helping foreign companies that wish to do business in the Brazilian sports marketplace. He acts as a ‘business facilitator’, assisting them in various areas. In the same way, he assists Brazilian companies that wish to expand in Europe.
Brazilian/ Italian national, he graduated as a journalist in 1999. He has a Master degree in Management, Law and Humanities of Sports and a MBA in Investor Relations, and he has been active in the Sports Industry in Europe since 2004.
He is co-author of ”Mobile Sports Rights in Europe 2006” and ”Sports on Broadband 2007: Video Rights, the Internet and IPTV”. Before starting his consulting role, he was General Manager of Sportcal Europe for four years. Previously he had been the senior editor for Fifaworldcup.com in Portuguese before and during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Last but not least, Joao is a die-hard fan of Santos FC, the 2011 Copa Libertadores da América Champions!
